H-2A Transitional Period Procedures Extended
The Department of Labor issued extends the transition period filing procedures for H-2A visas set out in a December 18, 2008 final rule through June 1, 2010.
The H-2A temporary agricultural program allows employers who anticipate a shortage of domestic workers to sponsor nonimmigrant foreign workers to perform agricultural labor or services for of a temporary or seasonal nature.
