DHS Issues Report on Adjudication of H-1B and H-2B Petitions

On August 25, 2011, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of Inspector General (OIG) issued a memorandum with recommendations on improving fraud detection in the adjudication of H-1B and H-2B petitions.

The report recommended USCIS develop a national fraud identification program identifying current fraud trends and ensure training is conducted annually for officers adjudicating H-1B and H-2B petitions.
