Vishal Chander – Managing Attorney
Vishal Chander is Managing Attorney of The Chander Law Firm. His principal area of practice is Immigration Law. Mr. Chander also practices Business Law and Corporate Law, Commercial Litigation, Employment Law, Civil Rights Law, and other areas.
Mr. Chander is an appointed member of the Texas State Bar Standing Committee on Laws Related to Immigration and Nationality. Mr. Chander currently serves as New Members Division Liaison for the Texas Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. Mr. Chander is also co-chair of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association Immigration Committee. Mr. Chander has been recognized by Texas Monthly magazine as a Texas Super Lawyers “Rising Star” in in the area of Immigration Law from 2008 through 2011.
Mr. Chander is a graduate of Southern Methodist University School of Law. He was formerly judicial law clerk at the Texas Thirteenth Court of Appeals. Mr. Chander is admitted to practice law in the states of Texas and New York.
