Vishal Chander Recognized as Texas Super Lawyers "Rising Star" for Third Consecutive Year

 

DALLAS, TEXAS - Vishal Chander, Managing Attorney of The Chander Law Firm, has been recognized as a 2010 "Rising Star" by Texas Super Lawyers in the area of Immigration Law.  This is the third consecutive year Mr. Chander has been selected for this recognition.

 Texas Super Lawyers is a listing of outstanding lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional accomplishment.  Texas Super Lawyers Rising Stars are a listing of top up-and-coming attorneys who are 40 years old or younger or who have practicing 10 years or less.  Texas Super Lawyers listings are published annually by Texas Monthly magazine.

Lawyers are selected for listing by Super Lawyers using a rigorous, multiphase process. Peer nominations and evaluations are combined with third party research. Each candidate is evaluated on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement. Selections are made on an annual, state-by-state basis.  While up to five percent of the lawyers in the state are named to Super Lawyers, no more than 2.5 percent are named to the Rising Stars list.
